An RMGT press is engineered for the sheetfed offset production workload — not for a single market segment. Below are the four segments where our 750, 920 and 1050 series do their most consistent work.
Commercial printers face shrinking run lengths, more-frequent changeovers and tighter turnaround windows. Smart RMGT automated makeready, LED-UV instant curing and CIP3/CIP4 ink-key presetting are the three subsystems that turn that pressure into margin. The RMGT 750 B3 is our most-deployed format for trade and mid-sized commercial shops; the 920 B2 adds 2-up A3 workflow for higher volume.
Folding-carton converters need colour stability across long runs and substrate flexibility across stocks from 230 gsm SBS to 400 gsm folding boxboard. The RMGT 920 B2 and 1050 B1 series with LED-UV curing and inline coating are engineered for this work. LED-UV lets the carton ship to die-cutting and gluing without an aqueous coating tower and without anti-set-off spray.
Specialty label and premium print work rewards substrate range and ink flexibility. LED-UV curing cures metallic inks, pearlescent inks and heavy varnishes that an aqueous coating tower cannot reach. The RMGT 920 with inline coating is a strong match for wine- and spirits-label work; specialty coaters add textured finishes on pharmaceutical and cosmetic cartons.
Long-run book and periodical printers benefit from the RMGT 1050 B1 perfector configuration — printing both sides of the sheet in a single pass for two-sided text and cover work. Combined with non-stop feeder and delivery, this configuration keeps long-run book signatures moving across shift changes.
Our lane is sheetfed offset. We are not a fiber-laser cutter OEM, we are not a digital-press OEM, we are not a 3D-printing vendor with a commercial-print product line. If your production belongs on a digital press, we will tell you — and we will happily recommend the peer platform. Our honest starting question is always the same: show us your run-length histogram.
